Faith Driven Purpose
As a real estate development and investment company our faith-driven purpose is to build redemptive community by renewing and restoring the physical, relational and spiritual aspects of community that God desires and intended for us to dwell in.
Invest in and build infrastructure that supports community development, revitalization, economic growth, public health, and safety.
Faith Driven Investment
Build and develop housing, with an emphasis on affordable housing, that focuses on in-fill development and building new physical community connected with a larger sense of place.
Invest in cities, towns, and neighborhoods that have suffered from disinvestment, places where both the private sector and public sector have been ineffective, to leverage new investments to spur economic growth and opportunities.
Invest and develop in areas where a sense of community has been lost or deteriorating; rebuild or build new physical places, i.e. the public square, where relational and spiritual places can grow, thrive, and prosper.
Invest in adaptive reuse projects, infill development, and redevelopment of existing older industrial, commercial, residential, and historical properties.
Biblical Basis For Kingdom Impact
Isaiah 58:12, and Nehemiah 2:17 reference the repair and rebuilding of the broken walls. Walls brought protection and safety; today's infrastructure - utilities, roads and parks - like those walls are in need of repair and rebuilding.
Isaiah 58:12 references the Restorer of Streets with Dwellings. From the beginning, we were designed to live in community. Because of sin, we were banished from the Garden and have since sought to build dwellings in community, attempting to reflect God's original plan.
Isaiah 6:14, Amos 9:14 references the renewal of cities devastated for generations and rebuilding ruined cities so they can thrive. Many small towns and cities today are in decline and ruin because of lack of private investment and apathy. God blessed Jerusalem, consistently offering hope for its renewal. We aren't called to just wait for this renewal, but are invited to participate in rebuilding and renewing our communities today.
Isaiah 61:4, Amos 9:11 reference the restoration of places long devastated, repairing broken places, rebuilding it as it used to be. It's not only "bricks & sticks" in a state of disrepair, but the relational and spiritual aspects, where a sense of place and belonging also need restoration.
Isaiah 58:12 references the rebuilding of ancient ruins. To neglect or demolish historical properties that were once instrumental to a community can erase our connection to the past. We are called, where feasible, to rebuild those ruins in a way that honors the past and connects us to our history, while building hope for the future.
